Kevin Powers
Kevin has spent the past 20 years working successfully on a wide variety of siting issues, including dams, gas plants, wind farms, solar farms, nuclear plants and waste facilities.
Prior to joining Project Advocacy, he worked as Director of Public Affairs at Canada's second-largest electricity producer, where he was responsible for securing community and government approval for $16 billion in projects.
Prior to his work there, he served as head of Communications at the Ontario Ministries of Energy and Infrastructure.
He has extensive experience in grassroots and public relations campaign strategies, as well as high-level experience in politics at all levels of government on both sides of the border.
Kevin started his career as a reporter with the Associated Press in Washington DC. He has a Master's in Journalism from Northwestern University.
